Open to anyone, this 90-minute online introduction offers a practical exploration into how biomechanics can support the body in preventing, recovering from, and healing IBS and digestive disorders.
During this session, you’ll learn how the way your bones and joints are positioned, from the feet upward through the skeleton, has a profound impact on how you, and your clients feel, move, and function day to day. When our bones and joints fall out of alignment, the body is forced to compensate. Over time, this can contribute to and create pain, fatigue, tension, and dysfunction in many different systems.
Through the practices and theory behind The Ixchel System, you will begin to explore how gently realigning the body and changing the way you stand, move, and sit can restore a more natural and efficient structure, allowing the body to begin working with itself again rather than against itself.
This session will take place live on Zoom, and all participants will receive the joining link once they have registered.
During the workshop you will:
Learn the foundations of biomechanical realignment for emotional and physical pain
Understand how misalignment in the feet can affect the entire body above
Be guided through several biomechanics practices that you can feel immediately
Experience the instant difference biomechanic realignment makes in your body
By the end of the session, you will not only understand the principles behind this approach for your clients, but you will also have begun to feel the impact of whole-body realignment for yourself.
Whether you are dealing with chronic pain, migraines, IBS, ME, Chronic fatigue syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Plantar Fasciitis, recovering from injury or illness, Anxiety, ADHD, or simply curious about how your body can function better, this workshop offers a powerful first step into a body-first approach to emotional and physical healing and wellbeing.
What do past attendees say?
“I found the whole session interesting, and informative, having trained as foothealth Practitioner, ive trained in biomechanics and the gait, but there is so much more to learn.”
“The knowledge of the foot tripod and that it is SO important and affects everything. Brilliant to understand the causes of fibromyalgia and how complex it is.”
“I thought Victoria explained everything very well and with a lovely amount of enthusiam. Easy to understand and good succinct details of the hows and whys. Enjoyed it very much and found it very interesting. Thank you!”
“I found the foot tripod exercise very interesting. Also, the importance of the psoas being strong and turned on for core strength as opposed to the abdominals. I am very aware of the emotional connection with the physical body but found the connection with foot placement and the effects on the nervous system enlightening.”
