Get Into Your Bodyâ„¢ Level 1 is our signature course for individuals and practitioners who want to reduce pain, create mobility, and improve physical and emotional health

7 Weeks, 48 Practices

In Get Into Your Body Level 1, we look at the integrated body and mind relationship of your muscular-skeletal system through 7 modules, dripped over 7 weeks, and teach you how to navigate your body to prevent or recover from physical or emotional injury through 48 simple realignment practices.

You will work from the bottom up, realigning every single bone and joint in your body

You are going to unlearn all bad postural habits, and
re-educate your body into optimal muscular-skeletal alignment and correct biomechanics. 

Module 1: The Feet

Relevant to Plantar Fasciitis, ankle strains or sprains, Achilles pain, bunions, or general foot discomfort.

Learn the clock-face orientation of your feet and discover the natural tripods that create instant support and connection.

Understand how to rebalance your body, return to your centre, and explore how joint movement and gravity can either relieve or increase pressure in your feet and back.

Module 2: The Pelvis

Relevant to conditions including Sciatic Pain, Herniated Disc Hip Pain, Lower Back Pain, Stiffness, Lack of Mobility and Flexibility.

A unique walk through the movements of your hips and pelvis. Let’s reveal what is stuck and get it moving.

Module 3: The Spine

Relevant to conditions including Sciatic Pain, Herniated Disc Hip Pain, Lower Back Pain, Stiffness, Lack of Mobility and Flexibility, Digestive Problems and Emotional Trauma Dissociation.

Understand how your hip flexors and pelvic tilt can help your spine feel perfectly aligned in three planes of movement.

Module 4: The Ribcage

Relevant to conditions including Frozen Shoulder and Rotator-Cuff Injury as well as Breathing Problems, Digestive Problems, High Blood Pressure and Heart Problems.

A unique approach to bring immediate ease to your body with the alignment of your spine and rib cage.

Module 5: The Shoulders & Arms

Relevant to conditions including Frozen Shoulder and Rotator-Cuff Injury.

In this fascinating module, we will dismantle the shoulders so that you understand the specific movement of your shoulder blades and how they can move independently of your upper arm shoulder joints.

Module 6: The Neck

Relevant to conditions including Chronic Neck Pain, Headaches, Migraine, Dizziness, Social Anxiety.

Using the Clock Face and Plains of Movement, we will begin to explore how your neck and your chest or rib cage often move as one unit.

Module 7: The Jaw

Relevant to conditions including TMJ, Teeth Grinding, Breathing Problems.

This final module allows you to understand the impact of your jaw closed tight rather than open and relaxed on the rib cage, pelvis, hips, and feet.

Also looking at the Breath, we put everything together to get your Body connected to your Gait Internally as well as Structurally.

1. Online

Start to reeducate your body with videos of the Get Into Your Bodyâ„¢ practices on our online course. Begin to notice any imbalances and misalignment in your bones. 

The 7 Modules will be
dripped to you weekly, giving you time to practice in between.

Everyone learns in different ways, so every practice is delivered via videos, text, images, audio, and even a workbook - in which you can sketch and journal (A free digital version is included with the course, or you can buy the physical version).

2. One-to-One Sessions

Once you have tried out the practices by yourself, you then have a weekly 1:1 session with your Ixchel practitioner. This will either be in-person or via video call (you will decide together).

As well as supporting you through your whole Get Into Your Body experience, your practitioner will check you’re doing the movement practices correctly and will advise adjustments accordingly.

3. Group Sessions

Every Get Into Your Body student is also encouraged to attend our VIP group sessions. These sessions are included in your package, and run over 7 weeks, starting at different points throughout the year.

In these lively online sessions, you will meet other students who are learning the methodology at the same time, and will receive live feedback from our amazing Ixchel practitioners!

These sessions are
vital for reinforcing what you have already learnt in your 1-2-1's and from the online platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much time do I need to do the course?

You need a minimum of 10 minutes a day, 5 days a week, and then 1 hour a week for six or seven weeks to meet with your practitioner.  You will then simply use the movements in your daily life.  Initially you can practice them standing in a shopping queue, crossing the road, or when you stand to brush your teeth.  These are the movements and alignments you should be using in your basic day to day life.  You do not need to go to a gym or a studio to practice them.

How do I know if the program will work for me?

This is an educational program and  if you go to our testimonials and stories you will get a very good idea of what to expect from our participants.  What we can promise you is we will educate you to realign your whole body.  We can say 100% that a bi-product of this is pain relief.

I do yoga or pilates, so why do I need this?

Yoga and Pilates are stretching or contracting practices for muscles and connective tissue.  We are focusing on your joints, which act as fulcrums at the core of the body.  You will learn to work with the 350 joints in your body, by aligning your bones whilst moving.

Can I just learn the course on my own?

Having a practitioner is crucial for ensuring that you are performing the practices correctly and effectively. Without guidance, it is easy to make mistakes that could hinder your progress. Additionally, if you experience pain, a practitioner can assess the situation and provide guidance on how to address it. The support and feedback from a practitioner can greatly enhance your experience and help you navigate the realignment process safely. 

When do I take part in the VIP Group?

You can either take part in the VIP Group at the same time as your 1-1's just as you finish them.  People can also start their group at any point during their 1-1's.  However, you can not start the VIP Group before your 1-1's.

If I am a Case Study, is my Trainee Practitioner going to have the right experience for me?

We  only pair clients with  Trainee Practitioners who are fully prepared to work with clients.  All Case Studies are supervised, and the Trainee Practitioners are being continuously assessed.

How can it work online, why can't you teach me in person?

This is not treatment.  We want you to learn your body in a safe and quiet environment.  We want you to watch, listen, or read the practices and information.  You then need to look at your body in the mirror and start to assess for yourself what your body is doing.  You will then be able to share with your Practitioner about your experience and then work on this together.

Is it the same as Osteopathy or Chiropractic treatment?

Get Into Your Body is a program that allows you in essence to become your own practitioner.  Instead of someone else assessing and manipulating your bones and joints, you will be taught to orientate your body and feel into each area.  By anchoring different parts of your body, and moving other parts in different ranges of motion, you will be able to create a lot of the adjustments for yourself.

Get Into Your Body Level 2

The next stage of the journey for those who want to explore gait on a deeper level as well as the movements and timings of the feet, pelvis, rib cage and skull in relation to each other - an exact science and essential element for aligning your posture.

Get Into Your Body Level 3

The final stage in our Get Into Your Body journey, participants must have completed levels 1 & 2 prior to beginning. In this level you will understand the intricate connections between your body's internal structures and your emotional landscape.
